OKC Police Identify Victims Of Double Shooting

OKLAHOMA CITY -

Oklahoma City Police have released the names of two men who were shot at an apartment complex Thursday; one died at the scene while the other is hospitalized in critical condition.

Shortly after 2 p.m., officers rushed to Wentwood at Grand Hill Apartments at 419 Tinker Diagonal. They found Laron McCoy, 30, inside an apartment. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A few minutes later, police were called to another scene 6 miles away at 226 S.E. 45th Street. They found shooting victim Santonio Johnson, 24. He was transported to OU Medical Center, where he's still fighting for his life.

Although the shooting victims were found at separate scenes, police say both were shot at the apartments on Tinker Diagonal.

Police have not made any arrests. Anyone with information about the shootings should call Homicide Tip Line at (405) 297-1200.
