MOORE, Oklahoma -

A Moore junior high student has been transported to the hospital in critical condition, after falling off a moving school bus Monday afternoon.

Emergency crews responded to the accident at 305 Nancy Jane Ct. in Moore. According to authorities, the student got off the school bus, then grabbed onto a window on the bus.

The bus driver reportedly did not see the student hanging from the window, and took off. The student was then thrown from the window and suffered head trauma.

The student has been transported to the OU Medical Center in critical condition.
