Two Oklahoma Baptist University men’s basketball players were among those honored when the NAIA released its 2012-13 All-America list Wednesday.

David Johnson was named Third-Team All-America and Chase Adams made the honorable mention list.

Johnson, a senior guard from Chicago, was Sooner Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year and a First-Team All-Conference selection. He averaged 13.1 points and 4.9 rebounds.

Adams, a senior guard from Tucson, Ariz., was a Second-Team All-Conference pick and averaged 14.5 points and 4.3 rebounds per game.

OBU men’s basketball has had a first-, second- or third-team All-American for five consecutive seasons and has had at least an honorable mention selection for the last 13 seasons.
