Crews Contain Large Grassfire In SE OKC Near Tinker AFB

OKLAHOMA CITY -

Firefighters have managed to contain a large grass fire in southeast Oklahoma City, Thursday afternoon.

The fire started near 6300 S.E. 61st Street, just southwest of Tinker Air Force Base.

The fire was moving in near homes and businesses, but crews were able to put a halt to the blaze before it could cause any damage.

Authorities have not said how much land was consumed in the fire. No injuries have been reported.
