Most of us have
heard the statistics –- a vehicle moving at 55 mph will travel the length of a
football field during the time it takes to compose a 5-second text. Experts say
texting while driving can be worse than drunk driving.
"Everyone is well

Constable said. "What we're trying to do is say texting while driving is just

Right now, a bill

committee and bring it to a vote. So, News 9 called Shannon's office to see
what the he thinks.

statement on the texting while driving bill situation is we are reviewing
several options at this time," Joe Griffin, speaker of the house spokesperson
said.
The speaker's
