Firefighters Called To Same NW OKC Apartment Where Body Was Found

OKLAHOMA CITY -

Homicide detectives were called Sunday night to a northwest Oklahoma City apartment complex, along with firefighters.

A fire broke out just before 9 p.m. at Willow Cliff Lakeshore apartments located at 5607 Willow Cliff Road. Residents had to be evacuated while crews put out the flames. No one was hurt.

Homicide detectives were also on the scene because a body was found at the same apartment complex the previous evening. The body was inside a burning vehicle.

The victim has not been identified. Police are calling the car fire suspicious and are investigating the death as a homicide. The state medical examiner is working to determine the victim's cause of death.
