OKC Man Accused Of Impersonating Law Enforcement

Oklahoma City Police have issued an arrest warrant for a 35-year-old man accused of pretending to be a law enforcement officer, and trying to obtain information from an apartment complex.

Oklahoma City Police said Marlo Rivera went to an apartment complex Monday, and demanded to see a list of illegal immigrants in their records. The apartment employees said Rivera claimed to be with law enforcement.

The employees called police. According to an arrest warrant, Rivera told police he didn't work for law enforcement, but if he pretended to he could obtain better information. He also allegedly said he just wanted the information "for fun."

Police took a report and left. Officers said Rivera later contacted them and said his "agency" wanted police to drop the report. When police asked which agency Rivera worked for, he told the officer that information was "above his pay rate." Rivera also said if the report wasn't dropped, the officer would hear from his attorney.

Police later issued an arrest warrant for Rivera. He's wanted for false impersonation of a law enforcement official.
