OKLAHOMA CITY -

Police arrest a Noble man accused of exposing himself to a group of young girls at a southwest Oklahoma City apartment complex.

It happened on Saturday, February 2, when police responded to the call on Barnes Avenue. When officers arrived, a group of angry parents had the suspect held. Police arrested 63-year-old Jay Frederick Spiel.

According to a police report, the girls, all under the age of 14, told police they were playing on the sidewalk of the apartments, when Spiel parked his car nearby, walked up to them, and then pulled down his pants and exposed his genitalia to them.

The report states the girls went to get their parents. Police say the group of parents confronted Spiel and held him until police arrived. Police found Spiel's car about 20 feet from where the girls were playing, still running.

Spiel was booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on five counts of lewd acts involving a child. Spiel is a lifetime registered sex offender. He also has numerous convictions including rape, lewd acts with a child and forcible sodomy.
