OKLAHOMA CITY -

Police are investigating a suspicious death in northeast Oklahoma City.

According to family members, the body of 41-year-old McQuallias Wright Sr. was found Wednesday morning inside a trailer home located near N.E. 59th Street and Post Road.

Wright's sister tells News 9 that her brother had been shot to death. He was found by family members.

Wright did have a history of drug charges which began in 1989 through January of 2012. Those charges include possession of controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute, trafficking in illegal drugs and concealing stolen property.

Though Wright has a lengthy criminal background on several drug charges dating all the way back to the 1980s, his family says he was trying to clean up his life.
