An Elgin, Oklahoma, woman was critically injured after she crashed her vehicle in Comanche County early Sunday morning. Oklahoma Highway Patrol Troopers believe drunk driving is to blame for the collision.

It happened at 4:35 a.m. Sunday, on Trail Road, just south of Carlson Road in Comanche County.

According to the OHP collision report, a 2013 Chevy pickup driven by 34-year-old Kay L. Glover was southbound on Trail Road, when it ran off the roadway to the right for an unknown reason. Glover over corrected and the pickup went into a broad slide.

The pickup then ran off the roadway to the left and rolled two times.

Glover was thrown out of the vehicle during the crash. She was transported to the Comanche County Memorial Hospital in critical condition, suffering from trunk internal and arm injuries.

Glover was not wearing a seat belt. Troopers say they did smell an odor of alcohol on Glover. They listed the cause of collision as "DUI" in the OHP collision report.
