A man says his quick trip to a convenience store turned frightening when he was approached by two men with a gun.

On January 24 just before 9 p.m., the man was sitting in his car outside a convenience store on S.E. 45th Street and Bryant, when two men suddenly pulled him out of his vehicle.

The men shoved him into a nearby alley, pulled out a revolver and pointed it at his chest. The victim said one suspect stated, "Empty your pockets and don't look at me, or I'll kill you!"

The victim complied, giving the suspects his wallet and cell phone. One of the suspects then told him to walk away, while the other climbed into his silver Toyota Camry and drove away. The victim told police he wasn't sure if the other suspect also got into the Camry or left another way.

After the victim called 911, an Oklahoma City police officer spotted the stolen vehicle at S.E. 44th Street and Eastern. The officer called for backup, and police pulled over the car at S.E. 29th Street and Grand.

Corey Shaw, 30, was behind the wheel. According to the police report, he matched the description the victim gave of one of the suspects. Shaw was arrested and booked into the Oklahoma County jail on a complaint of robbery with a dangerous weapon.

The second suspect has not been caught.
