Lockdown At Metro Elementary School Lifted

A lockdown placed on a metro elementary school following reports of gunshots heard in the area has been lifted.

Green Pastures Elementary school is located at 4300 N. Post Road in Spencer but part of the Oklahoma City Public School District. The school was put on lockdown as a precaution around 1:45 Monday. All kids are safe.

Oklahoma City Police patrolled the area, but didn't find anything and called off the search.

According to the school district, students will be dismissed at their normal time at 3 p.m.
