Warr Acres Teen Arrested After Short Car Chase With Police

WARR ACRES, Oklahoma -

A teenager in Warr Acres was arrested Sunday after leading police on a high-speed chase in his mother's car.

Officials say the chase began when the teen would not pull over during a routine traffic stop. Police say a girl in the car tried to get out, but was dragged when the car didn't stop.

The teen eventually pulled over near Northwest Expressway and Council, but police say he resisted arrest.

Police have not released the teen's age or identity. No other information has been released.
