OKLAHOMA CITY -

Police have arrested a man accused of driving through a fence and into the parking lot of a southwest Oklahoma City library, hitting three people and sending a woman to the hospital in critical condition.

Police say Emiliano Sanchez was intoxicated Thursday night when he drove his car through a fence at the Brighton Place Apartments, located at 7000 S. Walker Avenue. Police say Sanchez crashed his car into five vehicles in the parking lot of Southern Oaks Library, and struck three people.

One of those victims, a woman, is in critical condition at OU Medical Center. The names of the victims have not been released.

Sanchez was taken to St. Anthony Hospital, treated and released. He was then booked into the Oklahoma County jail.
