CUSTER COUNTY, Oklahoma -
A
Stillwater woman was killed after a two-vehicle accident in Custer County, Saturday
morning.
The
accident occurred on state highway 54 and county road 1010 around 9:40 a.m.
According
to a report by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, 23-year-old Carissa Taylor was
heading westbound on 1010 in a 2012 Ford pickup when she failed to stop at a
stop sign and was struck on the driver's side by a 1998 Peterbuilt truck,
headed northbound on highway 54, driven by 26-year-old Dustin Blocker,
Taylor
was pinned in her vehicle for approximately 45 minutes before being freed by
the Weatherford Fire Department using the Jaws of Life. She was pronounced dead
at the scene.
Blocker
was traveling with his wife, Jessica, 27, and son Eli, 10 months. No one in
Blocker's vehicle was injured.
