Suspect Tries To Hide From Police Following Chase In SE OKC

A car theft suspect was found hiding between houses in southeast Oklahoma City. A car theft suspect was found hiding between houses in southeast Oklahoma City.
OKLAHOMA CITY -

Police found a man hiding between houses in southeast Oklahoma City after a manhunt early Tuesday morning.

An officer tried to pull over a truck around 1:30 a.m. for not having a license plate, but the driver refused to stop.

Police soon learned the truck was stolen.

After a short chase, the suspect jumped out of the car and hid in a neighborhood near S.E. 42nd Street and High Street.

Officers called in K9 units to search for the suspect. He was eventually found hiding between houses. He was arrested without incident.

The suspect's name has not been released.
