The FBI is searching for an unidentified man who may have valuable information regarding the sexual exploitation of a child.

According to James E. Finch, Special Agent-in-Charge of the Oklahoma City Field Office, the person first came to the FBI's attention in November 2005. A series of photographs were published on the Internet showing a girl approximately 10 years old, naked and posing in sexually explicit positions.

The photos have been widely traded and circulated as child pornography on illegal Internet sites. The unknown man police want to speak with is also seen in the pictures, watching the child.

He's described as a white male between the ages of 55 and 65 years old. He has brown eyes, gray hair, and a full beard and mustache.

The FBI has also enhanced the background of the pictures, and identified a child's drinking cup from the QuikTrip convenience store and gas station chain. Because the pictures were taken in November 2005, the FBI believes the photos were taken in one of 13 U.S. cities where QuikTrip stores are located. Tulsa is one of those cities. The others are:

  • Atlanta, Georgia
  • Charlotte, North Carolina
  • Dallas/Ft. Worth, Texas
  • Des Moines, Iowa
  • Omaha, Nebraska
  • Greenville/Spartanburg, South Carolina
  • Kansas City, Missouri
  • Springfield, Missouri
  • Wichita, Kansas
  • Phoenix, Arizona
  • Tucson, Arizona
  • St. Louis, Missouri
  • Tulsa, Oklahoma
  • Agents have also identified a baseball cap with what could be the logo of a local sports team. There's also a partial image of what appears to be a telephone book.

The FBI doesn't know where the man and girl are now. They hope by publicizing the images, someone will contact the FBI about their whereabouts.

Anyone with information should call their local FBI office, or call the FBI's toll free number at 1-800-CALL-FBI.
