Putnam City Police Call Off Search For Suspect

PUTNAM CITY, Oklahoma -

The search for a third suspect following a police chase Wednesday afternoon is over. Putnam City Schools campus police called off the search and instead plan to issue a warrant for the suspect's arrest. His name has not been released yet.

It started after police chased three suspects in a vehicle. The suspects ditched the car at N.W. 34th Street and St. Charles.

Two suspects are in custody. The third suspect who is possibly armed fled on foot to a nearby apartment complex. Windsor Hills Elementary School located at N.W. 26th Street and Ann Arbor is no longer on lockdown.
