POCOLA, Oklahoma -

Authorities in a LeFlore County community are hoping someone has seen a 74-year-old Pocola woman who has been missing since Wednesday, October 17th.

Ruby Poole was last seen near her home. She was wearing blue jeans, a purple sweater or a beige checkered jacket and carrying a black or brown purse.

Pocola Police Chief Steve Howard says she was walking at the time, but believes she may have been given a ride.

Searchers have looked all around the area but found nothing.

Family members have passed out flyers as far away as Oklahoma City, Little Rock and Muskogee.

Howard says his department has issued a Silver Alert in Oklahoma.

Poole suffers from dementia and is need of her medication, according to her family.

Anyone with information about Ruby Poole or may have seen her is asked to call Pocola Police at 918-436-2476.
