"I'm scared to death," says Parent Pamela Rupert, who eventually was able to pick up her daughter. "I want my daughter and they won't give her to me."

Detective used surveillance video from inside the school to discover that the weapon belongs to a relative of a teacher at Plaza Towers Elementary.

The relative has told police the gun, which was inside a holster, fell out of his back pocket while he was helping a teacher with some computer work inside a classroom this weekend.

The District Attorney's office will determine is the relative will face charges for bringing the gun to school.
