Motorcyclist Injured After Crashing Into Parked Vehicle In Norman

NORMAN, Oklahoma -

A man was injured after crashing his motorcycle into a parked vehicle in Norman early Saturday morning.

According to Norman police, officers responded to the report of a motorcycle crash in the 4000 block of Cannon Dr. As officers arrived, they discovered that a motorcycle going south on Cannon Drive had struck a parked vehicle in the area.

The motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, according to police. He suffered a head injury and was transported to the OU Medical Trauma Center. Police have not released his identity yet pending family notification.

The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
