Oklahoma State dominated its season opener with a resounding 84-0 shellacking of Savannah State in Stillwater on Saturday. Here are some notable numbers from the Pokes' decisive victory.

11 – The number of attempts and completions for freshman quarterback Wes Lunt in his OSU debut. He is the first quarterback in OSU history to complete 100 percent of his passes with 10 or more attempts.

9 – The number of rushing touchdowns for the Pokes. Four Cowboys rushed for scores on Saturday, starter Joseph Randle had two, while reserves Jeremy Smith and Desmond Roland had three each. Walkon Corey Bennett also scored.

84 – The new scoring record for OSU in the modern era in a season opener. The previous high was 65 scored in the 2010 opener against Washington State. It was also a modern record for points overall, surpassing the 70 scored on Kansas last season. It is the most by an FBS team since 1991 when Fresno State had 94 against New Mexico.

58.5 – The points-per-game average in season openers for the Cowboys since 2006.

27 – The number of consecutive game in which OSU has had a scoring drive of two minutes or less. OSU had 10 scoring drives of two minutes or less on Saturday.

12 – The number of consecutive games the Pokes have forced two or more turnovers, OSU forced two against Savannah State.

12 (again) – The number of receptions by true freshman receivers against SSU. Austin Hays had eight and Blake Webb snagged two. C.J. Curry and Brandon Sheperd each had one.

0 – The number of points scored by Savannah State. It was OSU's first shutout since blanking Northwestern State in 2001.

102 – The number of punt return yards for the Cowboys in the victory. OSU had 79 punt return yards in the entire 2011 season.

35 – Points scored by OSU in the first quarter, tying the school record. OSU has also scored 35 points in a quarter against Kansas in 2011, Baylor in 2002 and Southern Illinois in 1972.

15 – The total yardage allowed by OSU's starting defense.
