A Tulsa Police traffic stop for an expired car tag Tuesday evening turns up a meth lab and the recovery of a stolen car.

Shortly after 5 p.m. a Tulsa Police officer stopped the car in the 4600 block of North Peoria driven by Billy Allen.

A check determined the car had been stolen from a Tulsa dealership and a search of the car revealed a portable methamphetamine lab.

Allen was arrested and booked into the Tulsa County jail on complaints of manufacture of meth, possession of a stolen vehicle, not wearing a seat belt, no insurance and driving under suspension.
