STILLWATER, Oklahoma -

The Oklahoma State University NAACP chapter is reporting that African-American civil rights activist and Baptist minister Jesse Jackson is coming to Stillwater to lead a public forum on former OSU basketball player Darrell Williams on Thursday.

Jackson will be one of several speakers at a forum that is scheduled to run from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Mt. Zion Baptists Church in Stillwater. The church is located at 902 S. Knoblock.

Williams was convicted on July 23 on two charges of rape by instrumentation and one charge of sexual battery. His sentencing is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Friday at the Payne County Courthouse . The jury recommended one year of imprisonment on each count of rape by instrumentation and no prison time for the sexual battery charge. He was found not guilty of two other rape charges.
