OKLAHOMA CITY -
Two people are dead and three are recovering after a driver slammed into a major gas line near N.W. 10th and County Line road around 2 a.m. Saturday.
Gas was spewing as emergency crews responded to the crash.
Police say it's unclear what caused one of the drivers to go off the roadway, but high speed may be too blame.
"We had a very violent collision and a major crash here at the intersection of N.W. 10th and County Line," said Sergeant Mark Sexton of the Oklahoma City Police Department.
"One of the vehicles was cast off to the side of the intersection where it's hit a major gas line," he said.
One person ran from the scene and was later caught.
