Your 2 Cents: Vice President Joe Biden's Remarks Racially Insensitive?

Vice President Biden told an audience that was about half African American that Mitt Romney is going to unchain Wall Street and then added he's going to "put y'all back in chains".

I said it was bizarre and offensive comment that deserves an apology. Here's what you had to say.

Eddie from Apache first: "I agree with you about the IDIOT Joe Biden. BOTH he and the IDIOT in the white house should apologize to the African Americans."

Richard from Edmond: "VP Biden was only referring to the chains being taken off of the banks and put back on the average American."

Mary in Norman: "I think we are sometimes looking to find a racist remark when none is intended like Biden's remark about the banks."

David writes from Enid: "Biden: Apologize for the truth, I don't think so."

Jeff says: "If a Republican would have said this the Dems would have lynched them for it."

Kat writes: ""Sorry to say it, but Biden is an idiot. Now is anyone really surprised by this?"

Dusty argues: "Biden's remarks were not racially insensitive because he is a democrat."

Finally Jared writes: "Mr. Biden's comments were not racist and you know it. This like the first lady piece is an attempt to stir things up in hopes of promoting the Republican agenda."

Except Jared, I defended the First Lady in that commentary Monday night.
