Midwest City Police Search For Suspects In Grocery Store Robbery

MIDWEST CITY, Oklahoma -

Police say two men walked into a grocery store in Midwest City and walked out with a lot of cash.

Just after 9 p.m. on August 5, the men went into Crest Foods at 7212 E. Reno and robbed the store. Witnesses told police both men appeared to be wearing disguises.

Police obtained surveillance video from the store. Both men appeared to be wearing fake mustaches. One man is wearing a red shirt, blue jeans and what appeared to be a wig. The other man was dressed all in black and wearing a hat.

Police have released several surveillance images of the men. They are asking the public to take a close look at the pictures, and contact law enforcement if they recognize the men.

Police did not say how much money was taken, but no one was hurt during the robbery. A reward is being offered for information leading to the identification, arrest and conviction of the suspects.
