Homicides Rise In Oklahoma City In First Half Of 2012

OKLAHOMA CITY -

In Oklahoma City, the number of homicides is up by more than 50 percent for the first half of 2012.

Oklahoma City police report 48 homicides during the first six months of 2012, compared to 30 last year.

The victims include four babies, children ranging from two months to five years old, and a 16-year-old boy.

The 48 do not include the suicides of three men who killed family members before taking their own lives.
