Agents from the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) arrested a 40-year-old man suspected of raping an underage girl and collecting child pornography.

A family member called the Warr Acres Police Department after learning the girl was speaking with Theodore Kevin Booker on Facebook and exchanging text messages with him. The family member also discovered the girl sent nude photos to Booker.

Warr Acres police called in OSBI to help with the case. Agents arrested Booker at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, where he worked as a cook. They also seized his cell phones and computers.

Agents uncovered at least half-a-dozen pictures of the young girl, which agents classified as child pornography.

Agents said Booked faced a long list of charges including seven counts of rape, two counts of forcible oral sodomy, soliciting a minor and possession of child pornography. He was being held on a $263,000 bond at the Oklahoma County Jail Friday.

"It was someone that they knew," said Steve Tanner, OSBI's Agent in Charge of Internet Crimes Against Children." It was a family friend."

Court papers showed exchanged texts with the 14-year-old girl and sent "Facebook message that were sexual in nature." Investigators also found several pictures of the young girl in "sexually provocative poses" on Booker's cell phone.

Agents said the relationship went far beyond that and was physical in nature.

"He had already convinced her that he was her friend and he cared about her and cared about her life," explained Tanner. "That was what his premise was as far as getting her to do the sexual things that she did."

Agent Tanner warned parents on Friday to call OSBI if Booker had been in contact with their children.

"We are always concerned that there is more than one victim," he explained. "My thought process is, it's just not one child that they're molesting. That is my thought process. Whether there is statistics to prove it, I don't know but we are always looking for additional victims."

He advised parents to report any kind of information to authorities if they suspect someone is having an inappropriate relationship their children. It could make all the difference in catching predators.

"In this case we had a very aware family member who saw what was going on and so the time period of when these crimes occurred and when they got reported is pretty short."

Tanner also explained that many child molestation cases involved a suspect and victim who know each other. He said often times the predator is someone in a position of trust to the child.
