Missing Ardmore Man Found Safe, Silver Alert Canceled

ARDMORE, Oklahoma -

Police have canceled a silver alert for a 60-year-old man who was reported missing since Wednesday night. Ben Morgan has been found and is safe.

Ben Morgan was last seen at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, at the Ardmore Veterans Center. He was wearing blue jeans and a white t-shirt.

Morgan has family in Wilburton. Police say he left to watch fireworks at Lake Murray and never returned. Family members say they have not seen or heard from Morgan since.

According to police, Morgan has a history of several illnesses. He suffers from post-traumatic disorder and is diabetic. He did not bring his medication with him.

Morgan was under proven medical or physical disability, and officers believe he is in imminent danger of serious bodily injury or death.

Morgan was driving a red, 1997, Dodge Dakota pickup truck with an Oklahoma License plate 074AZN.
