Your 2 Cents: NBA Finals In OKC. Coolest. Thing. Ever.

I said the other night the Thunder being in the NBA Finals is the coolest thing that's ever happened in this city. Here's what you had to say.

Audra from Duncan first: "The joy and spirit they have brought to our city and state is unmatched. I felt like a kid on Christmas when they won the Western Conference finals."

But Christy in Oklahoma City says she got kicked out of her honeymoon hotel because of the NBA Finals and writes: "I didn't care for the Thunder before, you can be darned sure I dislike them with a passion now."

Ann in Del City: "It's great that the nation's eyes are on OKC for something fun instead of a tragedy. Let's hope that all Okies will behave nicely."

Joe in Oklahoma City asks: "Yes Oklahoma is, up and coming. Why did it take an NBA team to get it there, and would we be there if the Thunder was losing?"

Jennifer from Choctaw has this to say for angry fans in Seattle: "...for lack of better words you guys threw your team out like trash and we welcomed them with open arms."

Cheryl in Earlsboro: "You are so right. Coolest thing ever. Having several players that are truly role models for youth makes this more AWESOME."

But John in Norman disagrees and takes a shot at me: "…the people who have no affection for the team are sick to death of your ridiculous middle school enthusiasm over the team."
