OKLAHOMA CITY - Oklahoma City Police have located the burglary suspect at a residence located at 3416 S. Woodward, and police say he had suffered a gunshot wound.

The suspect was transported to a local hospital in stable condition. After he is treated officers will take him to jail for the burglary.

The shooting incident happened earlier in the day Friday. Police say a business owner was checking on his shop on South Robinson when he saw an open door. He stopped and found a man inside.

The two got into some sort of fight and police say the business owner shot the suspect.

The suspect got into a vehicle with two other people and took off.

Police have not been able to identify the suspect yet. The district attorney will determine if charges should be filed against the burglary victim, though charges aren't likely.

No information yet on the other individuals in the getaway vehicle.
