NORMAN, Oklahoma -

Norman police detectives need the public's help in identifying two robbery suspects.

On May 17, an armed robbery occurred at the LaQuinta Inn located at 930 Ed Noble Parkway in Norman. The victim in the robbery was an employee at the hotel. According to police, the employee flagged down an officer 45 minutes after the robbery occurred.

Police say the victim was working in the lobby of the hotel when two men entered the building. One of the men was armed with a handgun and demanded money. The suspect then took off with an undisclosed amount of money. Before they left, police say the suspects forced the victim into a closet. The victim stayed in the closet until the suspects left. It's unknown if the two left on foot or in a vehicle.

Police released descriptions of the suspects. The first is described as a white man, approximately thirty years of age, medium build, wearing a green/white baseball cap, sunglasses, black or blue hooded jacket, black sweatshirt (white t-shirt underneath), jeans, pink CROCS style shoes and armed with a handgun.

The second suspect is described as a white man, approximately twenty years of age, thin build, wearing a red t-shirt, jeans and black ball cap.

We ask that anyone with information call the department at (405) 321-1600.
