Oklahoma Governor's Daughter Files To End 10-Month Marriage

Governor Mary Fallin's daughter has filed for an annulment just 10 months after the wedding.

According to court papers, Christina Marie Fallin-Bacon filed for the annulment of her marriage to Matthew William Bacon on Friday, April 27. They have no children.

The couple was married in Ireland in June of 2011. Oklahoma tax dollars helped pay for Governor Fallin's trip to Ireland for her daughter's wedding. In fact, taxpayers footed a more than $13,000 bill for her security detail, which is required when the governor or lieutenant governor travel out of the state. Governor Fallin did pay for the rest of trip.
