Crews Battle Fire At Cardboard Company In Lawton

Firefighters were called to the Republic Paperboard Company in Lawton after stacks of cardboard reportedly caught on fire at the company Friday afternoon.

It happened at the Republic Paperboard Company, located at 8801 Southwest Lee Boulevard in Lawton. According to the fire department, several stacks of cardboard at the company caught on fire at around 5 p.m. Friday. The building itself is not on fire.

No injuries have been reported.

Volunteers with the American Red Cross of Central Oklahoma have been sent to the scene to assist first responders.
