Oklahoma City police arrested a man accused of walking down several streets in southwest Oklahoma City with his pants around his knees.
Someone called 911 on March 31 when they spotted a man who was exposing himself near S.W. Grand and Pennsylvania. He was also asking people for money. A police officer found the man walking with his shirt open and his pants around his knees. He was not wearing underwear.
The officer identified the man as Ronnie Lee McBride, a 50-year-old transient and convicted child molester. McBride does not have to register as a sex offender because he was convicted in 1987, before registering was required.
The officer said McBride smelled of alcohol and appeared to be very intoxicated. The officer placed him in his patrol car and planned to take him to detoxification center.
While in the patrol car, the officer said McBride threatened to kill him and ordered the officer to let him out of the car. Because of the threat, the officer decided to arrest McBride and take him to the Oklahoma County jail.
The officer said that angered McBride, and that's when he threatened to kill the officer's family and began to kick at the patrol car's back window. McBride was booked into jail on complaints of public indecency and public drunkenness.
