Police: Missing Bethany Man Found Safe

BETHANY, Oklahoma -

Bethany police say a missing 80-year-old man has returned home safely.

Bethany police issued a silver alert for Jack Penwright Tuesday afternoon. Penwright was last seen at 10 a.m. Tuesday at a house, located in the 3800 block of Riverside Drive in Bethany.

Penwright was wearing a blue or brown plaid shirt, dark pants, and possibly a hat. Police said he was diagnosed with Dementia within the last two years, and was under proven medical or physical disability. Officers believed he was in imminent danger of serious bodily injury or death.

Penwright was driving a bronze, 4-door, 2002 Mercury Mariner with an Oklahoma license plate 902BXR.
