Police Identify Victim, Suspect In Fatal Stabbing At Downtown OKC Bus Station

A woman has died after being attacked by a man at the downtown Oklahoma City bus station.

Witnesses told police a woman walked into the station at N.W. 5th Street and Walker around 10:30 a.m. Friday when a man attacked her. Witnesses say the man stabbed the woman repeatedly in the neck.

Paramedics and police were immediately called to the scene. The EMSA crew rushed the woman, later identified as 19-year-old Tia Bloomer, to the hospital, where she died.

A security guard at the bus station held the suspect until Oklahoma City police arrived. He's been identified as 22-year-old Isaiah Tryon.

Tryon was booked into the Oklahoma County jail on one count of first-degree murder. Police have not said what his relationship was with the victim.
