A small earthquake was recorded near Wellston, Oklahoma Wednesday night.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the 2.9 magnitude earthquake was recorded at about 11:17 p.m. Wednesday. Its epicenter was about four miles south of Wellston, five miles southwest of Warwick, and 28 east, northeast of Oklahoma City.
