OKLAHOMA CITY -

One person is in custody after a hit and run accident Tuesday afternoon.

It happened at 12311 S.W. 14th Street when police say a person driving a blue Explorer Sport Track hit 5-year-old Cody Crow, then left the scene.

According to police, the boy was hit in front of his home after a school bus dropped him off. He was found rolling on the street with blood coming from his mouth.

Crow's father took off and followed the suspect to Reno Avenue and Mustang Road, where the driver was taken into custody by Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers.

Crow's uncle said he believes the suspect was drunk. The suspect is actually the victim's neighbor.

Crow was taken to the Presbyterian Hospital in good condition.
