OKLAHOMA CITY -

A suspected rapist is on the run in the metro and police hope a sketch will lead to his arrest.

According to police, a man raped a 28-year-old woman at around 3 a.m. Sunday at Northwest 24th Street and Robinson Avenue in Oklahoma City. Officers said the suspect walked up to the woman, put his hand over her mouth and attacked her.

A group of people walking by apparently scared him away, police said.

Police said the suspect is about 31 years old. He stands 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighs 170 pounds and had a slender build.
