An Oklahoma City man is facing a felony count of leaving the scene of an accident for a deadly hit-and-run incident that took place in early January.

According to an Oklahoma City Police Report, 41-year-old Joe Paul Cantrell ran his 1996 GMC Suburban into George Lee Harrall as he tried to cross the street at N.W. 10th and Peniel around 6 p.m.  January 6.

Harrall later died of injuries suffered in that accident.

Multiple witnesses observed the accident and called 911. Later, an informant was able to lead police to Cantrell's whereabouts.
