A police search warrant reveals what was used to murder a Midwest City woman in her home.

The suspect, Phillip Potts, showed no emotion as police escorted him to the Oklahoma County Jail.

He is accused of killing his aunt Violet Hemphill. Police found an axe next to her body and a large wound in her chest. Potts has been uncooperative in the investigation but his girlfriend who was also in the house told police what happened Monday night.

According to police, she told detectives that after Hemphill was killed, she and Potts made a pact to commit suicide by drug overdose and natural gas inhalation. Police said the two each left notes and took prescription drugs.

Police also recovered several pill bottles and knives from the house.
