My 2 Cents: Global Warming Debate

Posted: Updated:

Have you noticed, one of the most controversial, some would say over-hyped stories of the last several years, has just kind of faded away.

Know what it is?

I'll give you a moment, and a hint. It was in the headlines, worldwide, almost every day. Times up.

It's Global warming.

When was the last time you read about the oceans rising, the hole in the ozone layer, Al Gore selling carbon credits?

I searched Global Warming in the headlines today. One of the first I saw was in Forbes.Top German Environmentalist Cools on Global Warming.

But there were others. Soil Erosion increasing Global Warming. Can a Prius Increase Global Warming. Chocolate Covered Strawberries Threatened by Global Warming.

I should say right here, I'm a Global Warming skeptic, there's just too much conflicting information for me, and my years of covering politics have taught me to follow the money.

There's a lot of money to be made on both sides of the debate.

Deniers on both sides can find plenty of scientific evidence to support their position on Global Warming, but neither side can deny that the urgency, the general interest in the Global Warming campaign is cooling.
