SAPULPA, Oklahoma -

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has released the names of two men killed in a collision on the Turner Turnpike Saturday.

News On 6 has reported that storm chaser Andy Gabrielson died Saturday afternoon when his vehicle was hit head on by a driver going the wrong way on the Turner Turnpike. On Monday, we learned the name of the wrong-way driver.

Dead are Andrew Allen Gabrielson, 24, and 55-year-old Gregory Preston Gilcrease.

Troopers say Gilcrease, a Sapulpa resident, was westbound in the eastbound lanes of the Turner Turnpike at the bridge over Highway 66 in Sapulpa.

His 2010 Chevy Silverado pickup struck Gabrielson's 2011 Chevy Tahoe.

Lieutenant Chris Arnall of the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said Gilcrease was first spotted going the wrong way on the Creek Turnpike.  He entered the Turner Turnpike, still going the wrong way.

He drove for a half to three-quarters of a mile before hitting Gabrielson's SUV, Arnall said.

"We think that alcohol is a very good possibility in this, that caused it," Arnall said Saturday.

A search of previous records shows that Gregory Prescott Gilcrease was arrested in Sapulpa for public intoxication in January.  He was booked into the Creek County Jail on that complaint.

Two other vehicles were also involved in the crash.

Edgar Wayne Williams of Oologah was in a 2004 Ford F-150 pickup that was eastbound on the highway. Williams, 37, received arm and leg injuries when his truck hit Gabrielson's SUV. Williams was treated and released from a Sapulpa hospital.

An Edmond woman, 50-year-old Beverly Annette Hayt, was also injured. Her 2006 Lexus four-door struck Gilcrease's pickup. She is listed in stable condition at a Tulsa hospital with head and internal injuries.

Trooper Jared Sharp's report states that Gilcrease's condition at the time of the collision is unknown.

Friends have set up a fund to help Gabrielson's family, including his 3-year-old daughter.
