Police Arrest Man In Shooting Death At OKC Apartment Complex

Oklahoma City Police have arrested a 20-year-old man on a complaint of felony murder.

Police said Brandon Dawson was involved in the fatal shooting of 21-year-old Donte Deshawn McCarther. Someone called 911 on Tuesday, January 17, to report shots fired at an apartment complex in the 1400 block of N. Council Road. When officers arrived, they found McCarther's body lying near a breezeway.

Police said there are other suspects involved in McCarther's death. They are asking anyone with information about the case to call the Homicide Tip Line at (405) 297-1200.
