WACO, Texas – There is a reason Baylor is the No. 4 team in the country, and it finally came around about five minutes into the second half.

After hanging somewhat tight for a while, Oklahoma State dropped a 106-65 blowout to the Bears on Saturday afternoon in Waco.

OSU jumped out to a 6-3 lead, but it would be the Cowboys' final lead of the game.

Baylor slowly began to hit its shots, but OSU still trailed by just three at the 10-minute mark.

But the barrage of jumpers and 3s from the Bears started to take a toll, and 3-pointer from Pierre Jackson opened the lead up to 17 points shortly before the half. Jackson had a remarkable game off the bench for BU, putting up 18 points, eight assists and five steals.

Oklahoma State briefly cut the deficit back to 13, but the Baylor onslaught hit in full force about five minutes into the second half.

Over the final 15:21 of the game, the Bears outscored the Cowboys 59-25, leading by as many as 43 points.

OSU simply couldn't slow down Baylor's explosive offense, allowing it to shoot 53 percent from the field and 52 percent from 3-point range. Baylor shot 29 3-pointers and hit 15 of them.

The Bears doubled up the Cowboys in rebounds at 44-22, and nearly tripled OSU in assists (25 to nine).

OSU also didn't help its case by turning the ball over 19 times.

Markel Brown was the hot hand early for the Cowboys, finishing with 15 points – 13 of which came in the first half.

Keiton Page added 15 as well after a slow start and Brian Williams was the only other Cowboy in double figures with 10.

Baylor had four players score 15 or more, led by Quincy Miller with 21.

The loss dropped Oklahoma State to 2-2 in Big 12 play and 9-8 overall, while Baylor stayed undefeated at 17-0 (4-0 conference).

OSU will stay on the road with a trip to Iowa State for a Wednesday night matchup with the Cyclones. Tipoff for the game is set for 8 p.m.
