STILLWATER, Oklahoma -

Wild final minutes of the first Bedlam women's basketball game of the season gave Oklahoma State a 66-63 win over the Sooners to snap an eight-game losing streak in Bedlam, dating all the way back to 2008.

Trailing 57-50 with six minutes left in the game, Tiffany Bias and Jenni Bryan converted on back-to-back layups to cut the lead to just three points with 4:36 left to play. Joanna McFarland converted on a pair of free throws to retake a 59-54 lead with less than four minutes to play.

Oklahoma held a 59-55 lead 45 seconds later, and Lindsey Keller hit the first half of a pair of free throws to cut the lead to just three points. Oklahoma scored four consecutive to take a 63-56 lead with just 2:27 left in the game. Those were the final points OU would score in the game.

The Cowgirls converted on four consecutive free throws, two from Bryan and two from Bias, to close the gap to three points with two minutes to play. Liz Donahoe blocked Kaylon Williams' shot attempt on the Sooners' next trip down the floor, and Bias hit a layup on the ensuing trip down the court to close it to 63-62 with 75 seconds remaining.

On the next OU possession, Bias blocked an Aaryn Ellenberg jumper and Bryan hit a three-pointer on the ensuing possession to take a 65-63 lead, the Cowgirls first since early in the first half. After the Sooners took a timeout, Tiffany Bias stole the inbounds pass, sent it to Liz Donohoe who was fouled. The freshman from Edmond hit one of two free throws to make it a three-point lead with just 11 seconds left to play.

After another Oklahoma timeout, Morgan Hook attempted a three from the top of the key, but Donohoe blocked the shot as time expired to seal the win.

Bias and Donohoe led the charge for the Cowgirls with 14 points each, with Donohoe grabbing five rebounds and Bias dishing out five assists and coming away with four steals.

Joanna McFarland finished with a double-double, including a game-high 16 points and 10 rebounds, while Whitney Hand contributed 14 points and four rebounds in the loss.

The Cowgirls will take three days off before hosting the Kansas Jayhawks at 11 a.m. Wednesday, while Oklahoma will travel to Manhattan, Kansas to take on the Wildcats at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
