Nichols Hills police have presented the Oklahoma County District Attorney with a charge of child endangerment and filing a false police report against attorney Amy McTeer. She was arrested on the complaints two days before Christmas.

According to the police report, McTeer called 911 around two o'clock in the morning on December 23rd. She told police she was the victim of a home invasion. She said the two suspects were black males and armed with guns. She reported a man named "M&M" had a "hit" on her and may be responsible for the incident. According to police, four children were also inside the home.

Nichols Hills Police Chief Richard Mask said after officers spoke with McTeer and after talking to her children, "They advised officers that nobody had been there. There had been no two black males. There had been no home invasion."

A responding officer said McTeer appeared to be under the influence of a substance and she admitted to using "Ice", also known as crystal methamphetamine, earlier in the evening.

"Detectives notified DHS and took custody of her two children and two children who were staying with her," said Chief Mask.

The attorney is fighting a felony charge for allegedly helping her boyfriend Roy Kuykendall escape prison in July.

The Oklahoma Bar Association could not confirm or deny if it is investigating the incidents. A spokesperson said the OBA can file discipline charges but it is up to the Supreme Court to determine if an attorney will be stripped of their license to practice law.

McTeer told police she is currently staying with a friend in Edmond and is "trying to get her life straight."
