EDMOND, Oklahoma -

Police in Edmond are looking for whoever stole more than a dozen koi fish out of a man's pond in his backyard.

The victim called police last Friday and said he was checking on his 16 fish in the backyard of his house, located near Coltrane and Covell, and found only one was left. The fish are worth about $1,000.

Police say it did not look like any animal had taken the fish, and everything else in the victim's backyard appeared to be normal.

If you have any information on the theft, call Edmond police at (405) 359-4420.
